Men shoes news Universal Pictures x Adidas Hellboy II Stan Mid
Universal Pictures has hooked up with Adidas to create the Hellboy II Stan Mid. This shoe features black patent leather with the red Hellboy graphic. These shoes are definitely a bold choice.
These sneakers feature lots of interesting details, such as lace jewels, Hellboy on the tongue and an engraved outersole. These shoes will release later this month and come in a special box. Look for them at select Adidas Original Stores soon. The movie, Hellboy II: The Golden Army, arrives in theatres July 11th.
Designer Too Nice from TN Customs has customized a pair of Adidas Stan Smiths based on one of Marvel Comics’ most popular characters. These custom sneakers were crafted for the designer’s friend who is a big fan of the Silver Surfer. I love the style of these shoes which looks exactly like a comic book cover.
Too Nice placed an action picture of Silver Surfer on the left sneaker. This image shows this intergalactic character piercing the darkness of space on his silver surfboard. The right shoe replicates the Marvel Comics print used at the top of each issue of Silver Surfer.
I think that Too Nice and TN Customs went a long way toward repairing the image of Silver Surfer after the less-than-thrilling Fantastic Four sequel last summer.
To be released in the coming months are these new kicks from Adidas Originals. This pack is part of the Materials of the World line – with this one featuring Africa. The Materials of the World line takes the local fashions and tastes of a certain section of the world and gives it life.
Although there are many different color schemes used, the basic theme throughout this line is the unique African colors used in a flashy way. Colors such as yellow, green, red, black and orange are on full display. The shapes, styles and designs vary from shoe to shoe to give each sneaker a distinctive African feel.
If you are looking ahead to the 2008 Fall/Winter Micropacer from Adidas, here is a look that will whet your appetite. The Micropacer will come with a mechanism on the tongue that features a stop watch, a range finder and an ability to count mileage.
The look of these kicks is extremely blingy. Adidas went out if its way to add shine and sparkle to this release. Multiple shades and textures of metallic silver are used, in addition to electric blue stripes. Red is also used along the side and on the sole of the shoe. If you are a fan of this model, these shoes will be a nice choice.
Sara D. Roosevelt Park in New York city offers an oasis from big city life. This park is located between the neighborhoods of Chinatown and Lower East Side and here you will find members of the Chinatown Soccer Club (CSC) working on their games. Members of this soccer club stem from various creative walks of life, however they all love soccer and live or work in the neighborhood.
CSC has collaborated with Adidas to create their own version of the Top Sala. This black shoe features red and gold accents, which are traditional Chineses colors as well as the team’s colors. Only 350 pairs of these special shoes will be available worldwide. They are set to be release on June 14th. However, right now you can order a pair early from Sold Out for about $156.
On the release date, you should be able to get these at retailers like Dave’s Quality Meat (NYC), Arkitip (LA) and Stil Laden (Vienna, Austra).
If you are looking for distinctive skater kicks, check out this new pack from Adidas. With inspiration derived from food courts at malls, this pack is creative – at the very least.
In the pictures here, you can see two of the four sneakers that comprise this Food Court pack. The first one (pictured above) is a Polson ST with a color scheme of orange, off-white, and green. It’s believed this shoe was made with Orange Julius in mind. The other one is a Superstar Vulc with an Italian flavor. Inspired by pizza joints like Sbarrro, this uses traditional Italian colors – green, white and red stripes against a black background. This pack expect to hit retailers later this month.
